- Sensor Dry:Â This icon indicates a Sensor Dry cycle is currently running.
- Child Lock:Â Child Lock is turned on. All buttons other than the Power button and the control knob are locked.
- Delay Start:Â Delay Start is in use. A cycle is scheduled to start at a specified time.
- Filter Reminder:Â This icon displays after every load as a reminder to clean the lint filter. It will appear whether your filter is already clean or not. On some models it may blink in an extra effort to get your attention and remind you.
- Time Remaining:Â The hourglass icon indicates that the dryer is using a timed cycle. The number currently displayed is the time remaining in the cycle.
- Signal Off:Â The signal sounds (that occur at the end of a cycle) are turned off.
- Mixed Load Bell:Â The Mixed Load Bell option is turned on. The Mixed Load Bell will signal when the cycle is 80 percent dry. This lets you know when to pause the cycle and remove lighter, drier fabrics, so the heavier fabrics can finish drying before the cycle ends. If you do not pause the cycle, it will continue normally.
- Vent Check:Â This icon indicates the exhaust vent is in need of cleaning. After or during a cycle, it will light up if the exhaust vent is about 60% clogged. If the exhaust vent is 80% clogged, the icon will blink for three hours after a cycle is completed.
- Steam:Â The Steam option is turned on. Water will be sprayed during the cycle to achieve a steam effect while heating the laundry.
- Smart Care:Â This icon indicates Smart Care is turned on. Smart Care uses the camera on a phone to recognize error codes on the dryer and interpret them. For more information, see our guide on Smart Care.
- Smart Control:Â This icon indicates the dryer is ready to be controlled remotely using a mobile device. Use SmartThings to control the dryer.
- Wi-Fi:Â This icon indicates the dryer is connected to a wireless network. If the Smart Control icon is not lit, then you can still monitor the dryer using SmartThings, but will not be able to control it until pressing the Smart Control button on the dryer.
- Cycle Progress:Â These icons light up or blink to indicate the current status in the cycle. Different models have different patterns, but on most models, these lights will stay lit the entire time a cycle is running, and the current status will blink.
